The film is Lithuania’s official entry for the Oscars. In January this year it was screened at the Sundance Film Festival in the US, where A. Blaževičius won the award for best director.

The story is set in Vilnius in 2022. Marija, who holds a senior management position, raises the subject of divorce with her husband Vytas the day before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The couple take in a refugee family from Ukraine, and the divorce becomes entangled with their life and with a midlife crisis. The lead roles are played by Marius Repšys and Žygimantė Elena Jakštaitė. The film runs for 108 minutes.

The London Baltic Film Festival will take place from 13 to 21 November at two cinemas: Regent Street Cinema and The Garden Cinema.
